 At DCS.SOAR, our mission is to embody the spirit of real-life Special Operations Air Regiments by delivering an unparalleled helicopter gaming experience in DCS World. We specialize in close teamwork-based missions, primarily conducted under the cover of darkness. Inspired by real SOAR (Special Operations Aviation Regiment) operations, we strive to provide a challenging yet immersive environment where our members can excel as a cohesive unit, mastering the art of virtual aerial combat and rescue operations. As a community, we are dedicated to fostering camaraderie, professionalism, and a passion for aviation within the gaming world, pushing the boundaries of virtual flight and taking helicopter simulation to new heights. 

DCS.SOAR comprises a small group of dedicated virtual pilots who share a common passion for helicopter aviation in DCS World. We take pride in being an inclusive and welcoming community, embracing both seasoned veterans and enthusiastic newcomers. Our team consists of older, casual players with a wealth of experience in the virtual skies.

We believe in fostering a relaxed and enjoyable environment for our members. Hence, we do not impose flight time requirements. Whether you can fly every day or only occasionally, you'll always find a warm welcome among our ranks.

Flexible Attendance: We understand that real-life commitments may sometimes take precedence. As such, we maintain a flexible attendance policy, allowing our pilots to participate in missions as their schedules permit.

Many of our members boast a vast amount of experience in DCS World, making us a valuable resource for those seeking to improve their helicopter piloting skills. We encourage knowledge-sharing and actively support each other's growth as virtual aviators.

Welcome to The Night Stalkers! If you're considering joining us on missions, here's what you need to know about flying with our elite crew.

Requirements:

• Age: To join SOAR, you must be at least 18 years old. We value maturity and a sense of responsibility within our ranks.
• Communication: A reliable, good-quality microphone is a must. Effective communication is key to our success. We will also encourage the use of Push to Talk for clear and efficient coordination during missions or in the event of noise pollution.
• Modded Aircraft and Assets: We're all about enhancing the DCS World experience. Be ready to download and use modded aircraft and assets to take your virtual flying to the next level. This is a requirement to achieve our mission set. (OH-6A, UH-60L, MH-47G attachments)
• Positive Atmosphere: We aim to foster a fun and friendly environment within our squadron. To achieve this, we ask that divisive topics be avoided in our discussions. Respect and camaraderie are our guiding principles.
• PC Specs: While not mandatory, having above-average PC specs is recommended. Some of our missions can be demanding, and having a capable system ensures a smoother experience for everyone.
